We found this great apt. available July 1-January 24. Yet, we need a 3rd roommate to afford the rent (683$ per month if you join us)! Are you interested ? It's a 3BR in Crown Heights – Dean St. Btwn. New York & Nostrand Aves, on the top floor of a renovated four-story brownstone. The apartment has three bedrooms, each with thermal windows and real closets. The bathroom is all easy clean white tile. Clean white kitchen has full sized energy star appliances and a big skylight. Living room has coat closet and two windows that look out at our quiet back yard. New oak floors throughout, deep windowsills, radiator heat in every room. Front bedrooms have southern exposure and a view of the stained glass windows of the church across the street through arched windows. This part of landmarked brownstone Brooklyn is a convenient, gorgeous neighborhood with friendly neighbors and a sense of community. It is 4 1/2 blocks to the Nostrand Ave. A/C subway station: you are downtown in 20 minutes. It’s a short walk to Franklin Ave. 2/3/4/5 Station and 2 blocks from the Nostrand Ave. LIRR station. Laundry and the most excellent SuperFoodTown are around the corner. It is a short walk to Brooklyn Museum, Prospect Park and Botanical Gardens as well as yummy restaurants in Prospect Heights. Just four blocks to The Children's Museum and Brower Park. As for us: we are two creative, laid back, easy-going, cooking-loving, open-minded 25y/o gals who would love to discover the little things about the city. We have lived together before, and know that we look preferably for an out-going and sociable person to live with, since we like to do stuff together (chatting, movie nights, bars...).
