| Roommate Situation: This is a suite in a nice large house with roomates. The room is huge about 20x30 plus a full bathroom, it has a kitchen/bar W/Grill, a gas fire place with built in library shelves, a large closet and full acsess to the rest of the house and yard. The house is a nice four bedroom 2.5 bath with a large yard, fire pit, pool, workout machine, all appliances and plenty of storage. I also hope to have my whirlpool running soon and as I'm a landscaper I'm planning on doing a rooftop garden. The room is like an in-law suite but better. You can hang out all by your self or chill with the other roomates or even entertain guests aside from the rest of the house. This was my room for a long time while I rented out the others but I'm living in a different room now to save money. The roomates and I are 21-35 were very liberal to the point that we dont believe in liberal-conservative classifications. Heck we don't really believe (or not believe) anything because to believe in something is to close your mind off to intelligent thought. We are a diverse group and could best be described as philosophers. It's a very nice household and we don't have many big parties but we have a good time cause you have to live in the moment since there is realy only now and it never comes around again. I'm looking for any one with an open mind and a positive outlook on life. Couples are more than welcome, that means 400 a person wich is cheaper than the other rooms for more space than any two combined plus your own bath and kitchen, quite a deal I think. I am currently looking for a roommate starting July 1. Chestnut Place in River North (), about two blocks from the John Hancock. A 2 bedroom, 1.5 bathrooms, 1100 square feet, incredible northeast view from the 20th floor. I have half a deposit on this thing because my roommate bailed (he was the second-in-command chefhe Signature Roomhe 95th of the Hancock, "lost" his job, and is moving back to Florida). I looked at a lot of places and this value is excellent. It's a quiet concrete high-rise, meaning thick walls and no squeaky wood floors! Rent is $1,885 total and maybe a little less for the person taking the smaller bedroom.
About myself: I am 29 years old and a graduate of Regis in Denver, Colorado in business administration. I am working on a second degreehe Illinois Institute of Art part time. I have a great car and I haven't decided what to do with it yet. Summers I would like to keep it around so I can split up to Geneva National on Sundays for golf and to see my parents. I have good taste in things and a smart sense of humor. I like to hit up good clubs and restaurants, and will also drop by neighborhood bars on occasion. I dabble in museums, children's charities, Notre Dame and the White Sox (who are both sucking it), and I love cars.

| Roommate Situation: Hi! My name is Angel and I’m a 26/F from a north suburb of Chicago. I just bought a 9th floor 2 bedroom/2 bath condo in the Gold Coast and my friend who was supposed to live with me is no longer able to do so due to job uncertainty. The unit is beautiful and was recently remodeled, featuring an amazing kitchen with granite countertops, SS appliances and new cabinets. The entire unit has hard wood floors, except for new tile in the bathrooms and carpet in the bedrooms. There is an east-facing balcony with skyline views of the Hancock building. The open bedroom also shares that same view with a huge floor to ceiling window (window treatments included). The bedroom has a huge closet with a great adjustable built in organizer and cable hook up. I am asking for $875 a month, and that is with all utilities included (AC, heat, water, cable, etc…) except for electricity, which should be very inexpensive due to all the natural light and considering the bill will be split in two. I also recently bought a brand new couch, coffee table and flat screen TV, so the living room is pretty much taken care of.
The building is an 18 floor midrise located at 1250 N. LaSalle, about 1 ½ from the Clark/Division red line stop and with the 156 bus stop located directly in front of the building. There is a Jewel grocery store less then a half a block away, not to mention the countless restaurants, bars and shops the Gold Coast and Old Town have to offer. The building offers a 24-doorperson, bike room and small gym, however there is also a huge Fitplex gym directly across the street. The sundeck was recently redone and the beach is about 4-5 blocks away. Laundry is not in the unit, but the laundry room is located right next to the sundeck and is pretty big and quite clean. Since I haven’t officially moved in just yet, (working on that this weekend) I haven’t gotten a chance to meet too many people, but I know the majority of the residents are young professionals, and those that I have met seem very nice and love the building.
About me: I grew up about 30 min. north of the city (Glenview), where my parents still live, and graduated from Millikin University. I work A LOT between being a corporate auditor for a company downtown and working with my dad’s company, but I’m very outgoing and love travel and spend time with my friends and family whenever I can. Overall, I’m fairly laid back, but a clean and considerate roommate to have fun living experience with.
