| Roommate Situation: I need a roommate (male or female) to move in as soon as possible. My current roommate has graduated from school and is moving out. I am a 23 year old male student at CSULB and work at a restaurant part-time. This person needs to be friendly and laid back, but must also contribute to keeping the apartment clean. Also, I occasionally have friends over on weekends for kick-backs, but not often. I enjoy playing/watching sports and hanging out with friends. I am looking for someone who is studious, but also likes to have fun on the weekends.***

Here are the details:
-Rent is $725 a month
- It is a two bedroom apartment on the second floor, approximately 1000 sq. ft. 1 bathroom and fully furnished with great furniture (except for the vacant bedroom) including a 47'' flat screen.
- There is a kitchen, fireplace, balcony (smokers, non-smokers welcome), and 2 parking spaces available in front of the house as well as available parking on the streets.
- The vacant room overlooks a communal patio with a large closet
- Washer and dryer are communal between 3 other apartments.
- It is about a mile from 2nd street and about 3 miles from CSULB.
- Deposit will be $625 and utilities (electricity, cable/internet) run to about $80/month.
- The beach is close and the neighbors are very friendly (most are college students as well)
- There is no dishwasher, so the person needs to be able to keep up with hand washing dishes.

The apartment is a very nice 2 bedroom 2 bath. The room is unfurnished and is a good size (plenty of room for a queen bed) it also has a nice size walk-in closet. The apartment has vaulted ceilings and a small patio. The room is cable ready and also has a phone jack. The building is gated with underground parking, a laundry room and a Jacuzzi. It is a very nice building and the landlord keeps it in good condition. It is a fairly nice neighborhood and it is about a five-minute drive to CSULB. The apartment is very central to freeways, beach and downtown.
Utilities are shared- cable, phone, internet, cleaning person, gas and electricity this usually comes out to about $100 a month. Rent is $545. Moving in costs are $460 deposit plus first months rent. Room should be available 2/1 but is possibly negotiable if needed earlier. This is a must see. There is really nothing else in Long Beach that is this nice for this price and I am also a really great roommate.
I have a cat but unfortunately there are no other animals allowed.
