| Roommate Situation: I am looking for one or two amazing roommate(s) for my upcoming move to Chicago, male or female (I've lived with both). A little about myself: I will be graduating from UC Berkeley (GO BEARS!) in May and moving to Chicago July 5th to start a job as an actuarial analyst at a firm in downtown Chicago and will be there for a minimum of 18 months, most likely longer. I'm originally from New Jersey, so you can see that I like to go to new places and enjoy meeting new people! Some of my favorite things include ice cream, classic novels, movies, shopping, sleeping in, harmless pranks, cupcakes, 80s music, rockband, math, dogs, karaoke, traveling, list-making, board games, hanging out with friends, and The Office. I'll have actuarial exams to study for (although I usually like to study at cafes, so I won't be shushing you)in addition to working 9-5/6 so I won't be doing much partying on the weekend, but am all for hitting up the occasional bar or two on the weekend. In general, I am laid-back, independent, responsible, social, and a bit nerdy. What I am looking for in a roommate: Other young professionals preferred. Financially responsible. No smoking, no drugs. Cleanliness: I like to keep things clean and tidy by sharing chores that we do on a regular basis. Open-minded. Sense of humor. Good communication is a must. In general, respectful of others. I don't want to live with a couple because I've done that before and it's not cool when you are trying to get work done and they are making out on the couch right next to you. If you have a boyfriend or girlfriend, I'm fine with them coming over, but not so often that I feel like they should be paying rent. Overall, I'm a pretty cool person to live with and get along with almost everyone. I'll make you cookies when you are having a bad day. I have an ice cream maker and I will share.
