- Roommateclick closely matches you with members meeting your criteria. If you are searching for a room to rent, you are shown all rentals within you area and price range. If you are searching for a roommate, we show you all members in need of a room looking in your area.

- We are striving to cover all of the United States, although at the moment we are covering only the major cities throughout the US.

What does it mean to Post a Free Ad?
- When posting a free ad, you will be entering your search criteria, or your rental information to be used to display to others, as well as start providing you with matches based on your information.

How do I Post a Free Ad?
- Click onto the “Post a Free ad” link on our homepage. Select whether you are in Need of a room, or Have a room. Select your location and click onto the “Post a free ad” link to be taken to the information section to be entered.

What are the benefits of posting a free ad?
- Your free ad will allow you to start contacting all matches based on your criteria so you can get your room filled quickly, or find a room quickly. Best of all, it’s Completely Free!

How many photos can I post on my ad?
- You can post up to 4 photos on your posting. Make sure that all photos are in JPG format, and that each photo does not exceed 1MB in file size.

How long will my ad stay on?
- Your ad will stay on as long as you need. Logging into your account periodically will keep it update. When no longer needed, simply deactivate your listing.

Will my personal information by sold to other companies?
- NO! We do not sell or share your personal information with other companies if you don’t specifically opt-in to receive our partners’ offers.
How to use Roommateclick

How can I contact potential roommates?
- When logged into your account and viewing possible roommates, click onto the Subject line of the advertisement to access the details. On the lower section of the advertisement, you will find the “Contact Now” section. You can click onto the “Send email” link to write them. If a phone number was provided, you will also find it in this section.

How many listings can I have in my account?
- You can post up to 2 room listings in your account. Once you have posted your first listing, click onto the “Post a new ad” link in the account to post the second.

How do I adjust my roommate preferences?
- You can adjust your roommate preferences by selecting the “Advanced Search” link posted in the Search options section of your results page.

How can make changes to my advertisement?
- Select the “Manage my ad” link in your control panel to access the edit page. Once you have made your desire changes, remember to click onto the “Update Ad” option at the bottom of the page to save these changes. .

I found a suitable match, how do I remove my listing?
- Once logged into your account, click onto the “Manage my ad” option in your control panel. On the Edit page, select the “Deactivate” option to turn off your search and account.

Can I completely delete my account when no longer needed?
- Yes, log into your account and select the “My account settings” option. On the Account settings page, click onto the “Delete Account” option to completely remove your information from the service.

Will I be notified of new matches that are posted for me?
- You will be notified of new matches via our update emails sent to your personal email address.

Can I turn of the update emails if I want to check myself for new updates?
- Yes, please log into your account, and select the “My account settings” option, then the “Remove from mailing list” option.

I am not receiving any email updates.
- We send emails only when there are matches to make you aware of. You may also wish to check your junk/spam mail folder to make sure our emails are not being missed.

The links in your emails do not work, what do I do?
- Your email provider most likely has a security feature blocking the links in the email. You can access your account directly on www.Roommateclick.com to log into your account.
